Planning the ceremony

How long is a wedding ceremony?

Wedding ceremonies typically last 10 to 30 minutes. Toni agrees the exact ceremony timing with the couple and/or venue, and actual timing depends on the venue. The package’s reserved service window is separate from the ceremony length.

When does Toni arrive?

Toni arrives 30 minutes before the ceremony.

Where can Toni officiate?

Toni serves all of Las Vegas. Couples decide the venue or may ask Toni for a recommendation when there is time to provide one. Travel within 20 miles of Toni’s Las Vegas base has no added fee. Any farther travel fee is agreed before booking.

Does Toni officiate LGBTQ+ weddings?

Yes. Toni welcomes couples throughout Las Vegas and shapes each ceremony around the people making the promise, without forcing one script, style, or kind of celebration onto everyone.

Does Toni write the ceremony script?

Yes. Every couple’s ceremony script is one of a kind and written and created by Toni James.

What happens to the marriage certificate after the ceremony?

Toni signs the marriage certificate and personally delivers the completed certificate in person to the Clark County Clerk’s Office on the next business day. The Clerk controls filing and processing after delivery.

How many guests can attend?

Guest count is determined by the couple’s plans and the venue’s capacity.

What is the difference between a legal wedding, a symbolic ceremony, and a vow renewal?

A legal wedding creates a marriage under current Nevada requirements. A symbolic ceremony celebrates commitment without creating a legal marriage. A vow renewal celebrates a marriage that already exists and does not create a new marriage. Read the Las Vegas marriage guide for the current Clark County process and official links.

Packages, booking, and payment

What packages are available?

The $500 Essentials Ceremony reserves two hours and includes a phone consultation, a one-of-a-kind Toni-written ceremony script, and officiating. The $1,000 Signature Experience reserves three hours and adds either one reception song or emcee service. The $1,500 Ultimate Celebration reserves four hours and adds both one reception song and emcee service.

How does the consultation work?

The phone consultation is free and lasts 35 minutes. Toni reviews the date, location, ceremony, reception plans, and next steps, then follows up and helps select the package that fits. Signature performance-or-emcee details are confirmed during a second phone consultation.

What secures the wedding date?

A 50% nonrefundable wedding-package deposit is due immediately to secure the date. Final payment is due on the wedding day. Zelle is preferred, and online website payment is available.

How long are reception services?

Reception engagements typically last three to four hours. Actual timing depends on the venue, and the exact hosting and entertainment plan is agreed with the couple.

What can Toni perform at the reception?

The one-song performance can feature Toni James or, when requested, a look-alike performance inspired by Diana Ross, Whitney Houston, Donna Summer, Erykah Badu, Janet Jackson, or Whoopi Goldberg. Additional performers are available as a $500-per-performer add-on.

Who handles audio and microphones?

The venue handles all audio and microphone requests.

Does Toni attend the rehearsal?

Toni attends when performing at or emceeing the reception. Toni may also attend at the couple’s request if available.

Pride, songs, and direct contact

Is there a Las Vegas Pride group ceremony?

Toni welcomes Pride weddings, symbolic ceremonies, and vow renewals in Las Vegas. The Pride Weddings page lists group-event details while they remain current.

Can a personalized wedding song be added?

Yes. The $200 Songs Más Special add-on creates a song from the couple’s story in English, Spanish, or Spanglish. Typical song length is 2:30 to 3:30. At least three days’ notice is required, with five or more days preferred.

Can I call or text Toni?

Yes. Call or text (702) 743-1143, or email dragemdowntheaisle@gmail.com.
