How wedding, inquiry, and website information is handled.

Last updated August 13, 2026

Drag ’Em Down the Aisle collects only the information needed to answer inquiries, coordinate wedding services, administer Pride participation, produce an optional personalized wedding song, operate the website, and maintain appropriate business records.

Information collected

  • Contact information: names, email addresses, phone numbers, and preferred contact method.
  • Wedding and booking information: requested date, location, guest or venue context, ceremony preferences, package interest, appointment details, and related communications.
  • Pride participation information: contact and event-coordination details submitted through the dedicated Pride form, plus an optional request for practical accessibility or communication accommodations. Do not submit diagnoses or medical records.
  • Personalized-song information: creative direction, names or references, relationship stories, language and genre preferences, required or excluded details, and intended wedding use.
  • Technical information: limited device, browser, page, referral, and interaction information used for security, performance, and privacy-safe analytics.

How information is collected

Information may be provided through the general inquiry, Pride, or personalized-song forms; by phone, text, email, or social media; or through the Acuity Scheduling calendar used for consultations, availability, appointments, package selection, deposits, confirmations, and reminders.

Approved WordPress form submissions are stored as a local recovery entry and may be routed to an access-controlled Google Sheet used for operations. Personalized-song responses are linked to the wedding booking reference and routed to the corresponding Songs Más Special project record.

How information is used

  • Respond to questions and consultation requests.
  • Discuss availability, wedding plans, service area, venue needs, packages, payments, and event logistics.
  • Maintain booking, inquiry, Pride, song, payment, and service records.
  • Create and deliver a personalized wedding song when selected.
  • Send operational messages connected to an inquiry, appointment, booking, event, or purchased service.
  • Protect the website, diagnose errors, understand aggregate site use, and improve the customer journey.
  • Comply with applicable recordkeeping, legal, tax, dispute, and safety obligations.

Acuity, payment, email, and form providers

Acuity Scheduling is the authoritative system for consultations, appointments, availability, package selection, deposits, confirmations, and reminders. Information entered into the embedded scheduler or direct Acuity page is also handled under Acuity’s applicable privacy terms. General, Pride, and song forms do not request full payment-card details.

WordPress, the hosting provider, Fluent Forms, FluentSMTP, Google Sheets, email providers, and other narrowly used service providers may process information only as needed to host the site, store recovery records, route approved form submissions, deliver messages, secure the service, or perform requested work.

Personalized-song processing

Songs Más Special receives the creative and operational information needed to produce the optional Personalized Wedding Song Add-On. The production process is human-led and AI-assisted and may use Suno. Couples should submit only story details that both partners are comfortable sharing and should not include confidential information about another person without permission.

Analytics, cookies, and browser storage

The website may use cookies or similar browser storage for essential site functions, consent preferences, security, the embedded Acuity experience, and limited analytics. The optional theme-song player uses browser-session storage to remember playback time, play state, mute or volume, and minimized state during the session.

The privacy-choice panel identifies the analytics approach in use. With prior consent, analytics stays blocked unless accepted. With Google Consent Mode v2, declining keeps analytics storage denied and prevents analytics cookies, but limited cookieless measurement signals may still be sent to Google.

Approved analytics events may record page or section views, button and contact-link use, scheduler interaction, and form start or submission. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, pronouns, wedding dates, relationship stories, messages, and form-field values are not sent as analytics event data.

Sharing and disclosure

Information may be shared with service providers and project collaborators only as needed to operate the site, answer the inquiry, administer the booking or event, process payment, deliver a requested service, or maintain required records. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a legitimate business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

Retention and choices

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the inquiry, booking, service, operational, legal, tax, accounting, dispute, and security purposes for which it was collected. Different records may require different retention periods.

To request access, correction, or deletion of information, or to ask how a particular record is handled, email dragemdowntheaisle@gmail.com. A request may be limited when retention is required by law, needed to complete a service, or necessary to protect legitimate rights.

Security and policy updates

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect information, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. This policy may be updated when services, providers, practices, or legal obligations change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
